Happy Valley Tea Estate is the second oldest tea garden in Darjeeling, West Bengal. It was established in 1854. It is one of the beautiful tea garden of Darjeeling. Happy Valley Tea Estate is spread over 177 hectares or 440 acres, it is situated at a height of 2,100 meters above sea level, 3 kms from Darjeeling town. Situated below Hill Cart Road and 3km north of town. The bushes in the garden i.e., the Happy Valley Tea Estate, are very old, some are 80 years and some are 120-150 years old. The months of march to may are the busiest months here.

Here you can see the organic and bio-dynamic method of farming. It invites you to immerse you in the history, culture and the tradition of the place by witnessing the process by which fresh tea leaves are withered, rolled, fermented, dried, sorted and graded to produce a variety of teas; the black tea, green tea and the exquisite teas.
